In a period of just four days, a certain level of secure voter registration was maintained in Oklahoma, although the state is still not up to Mexican standards.
In the United States the fight over voter registration and secure voting is a constant battle.

I was interviewed by Silvio Canto, Jr., on his Canto Talk program on May 12th, 2020.
We discussed the Coronavirus in Mexico and Fast and Furious.
“Fast and Furious”, you may recall, was an ATF gunwalking scandal during the Biden Presidency
It’s in the news again because Mexican President AMLO has brought it up.
I think President Trump should cooperate with AMLO on this issue. Why not?
And, Trump could casually mention that “Fast and Furious” took place during the Obama-BIDEN presidency.

Culpeper, Virginia, is a town with some history, but nowadays its the place where a twice-deported illegal alien infected two cops with coronavirus and was released.
Why do we allow this sort of thing?

The Guatemalan government complains about the U.S. deporting sick Guatemalans back to their own country. But the same Guatemalan government is sending out more guest workers who might catch coronavirus. And the U.S. is helping.
Why? Well, there is a reason.
As they say, follow the money.

Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas recently proposed that Chinese students should not be allowed to study advanced science in the United States, but they could study Shakespeare and the Federalist Papers.
There was some mockery of Senator Cotton and the question was asked, “Does Tom Cotton think Shakespeare was American?”
In reality, Shakespeare almost was an American, being an Englishman in the period of time in which the Thirteen English Colonies began to be settled.
Shakespeare has been an important and formative part of American culture, and America is a good place to study Shakespeare.
That’s what the mockers don’t get.

Lately, the United States and Mexico have been criticized for not testing detainees for COVID-19 before deporting them.
So how did we get in this situation?

Guatemala has a consular network in the United States of 17 Guatemalan consulates (with 10 consulates in Mexico).
That’s a rather impressive consular network for a country the size of Guatemala.
The reason is there are a lot of Guatemalans in the United States.
A recent report in the Guatemalan government newspaper says the Guatemalan consular network is monitoring alien detention centers in the United States, to make sure they are following health protocols. It’s the age of COVID-19, you know.

The death count from COVID-19 coronavirus has passed 2000 in Mexico. My condolences to the many families affected by these deaths.
According to a projection made in the Mexican Cabinet in March, 2000 was predicted to be the maximum number who would die from the virus. So that has now been surpassed.
What about the racial theory behind the projection? That’s still unclear, but worth looking into.
