Nature abhors a vacuum. In human society, if one group doesn’t take control another will.
This is what has occurred in the area around Ayutla, a town in Mexico’s mountainous Guerrero state, south of Mexico City.

The debate over amnesty is heating up in the United States and you can be sure that it’s being closely followed in Mexico. It’s a hot topic south of the border. Millions of Mexicans have relatives in the United States, and their media harps upon it constantly.
Mexico’s SRE, the Mexican Foreign Ministry (Spanish initials for Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores) certainly has some things to say about it. Mexico’s foreign policy folks are very interested in the subject.

Another battle over amnesty for illegal aliens is about to be joined. Informed members of the historic American nation have to mount another bitter grassroots struggle against our political, media, corporate and religious elite.
That elite includes a group of evangelical leaders that calls itself the “Evangelical Immigration Table”. (See my blog entry on this group here).
The Evangelical Immigration Table is staging a major PR campaign to bamboozle evangelicals into supporting amnesty as their Christian duty.

Enrique Pena Nieto was elected in July of 2012 and took office as President of Mexico on December 1st, 2012. The Mexican presidency is a six-year term with no reelection, so Pena Nieto’s term lasts until 2018.
Under the past three Mexican presidents—Ernesto Zedillo, Vicente Fox and Felipe Calderon—the Mexican government has actively meddled in U.S. immigration policy, campaigned for amnesty and non-compliance with immigration law, and has claimed jurisdiction over American citizens of Mexican ancestry.
What’s particularly disturbing is that, despite this open meddling, no U.S. politicians at the national level show much interest in this subject.

With a new calendar year, and a new president in Mexico (Enrique Pena Nieto took office on December 1st, 2012), Mexico’s abysmal security situation is under analysis.
The analysis of murder statistics in Mexico has become a method of analyzing the situation. It’s rather morbid when you think about it, as these statistics represent real people who were killed.
What the analysts are looking for is trends. Is the violence going up or down?

It’s 2013, and President Obama, about to start his second term, is getting ready to start a new push to grant an amnesty to illegal aliens.
Get ready for lots of propaganda in the Mainstream Media, with sob stories about illegal aliens “living in the shadows.” Consider the fact that very few illegal aliens are deported anyway, and illegal aliens have the freedom to march down the street demanding amnesty.
It’s about the demographics. Most immigrants who wind up voting, whether they arrive here legally or illegally, wind up voting for the Democratic Party. Immigration provides ground troops for the Welfare State and the emerging Democratic Majority. Our government is electing a new people.

Our current policy of granting automatic U.S. citizenship to children of illegal aliens is insane, and ought to be stopped.
Representative Steve King (R-Iowa) has introduced a bill to stop it, H.R. 140. The bill’s purpose is “To amend section 301 of the Immigration and Nationality Act to clarify those classes of individuals born in the United States who are nationals and citizens of the United States at birth.”

My family and I have returned safely from our yearly Christmas trip to Mexico, to the metropolitan area in which we formerly resided and in which my wife’s family still resides.
We had long waits at the border both entering and leaving Mexico. Why?

The Mainstream Media follows a definite script on immigration. Immigrants are, by definition, good. Therefore, if immigrants have troubles, they must be victims. And if immigrants and native-born Americans have conflict, the native-born Americans must be at fault, probably because of racism and intolerance.
But what happens when real life doesn’t follow the script? Well, in that case, the MSM simply covers up. Reporters with agendas don’t even have to lie—they can just suppress the truth.
Look at an example that’s recently come to light—the disgusting case of the “Oceanside Couple”. At least, that’s what the MSM calls them, since they reside in Oceanside, a city on the California coast in San Diego County.

The end of one calendar year and the beginning of another is an occasion for reflection and analysis. This is certainly the case for Mexico, which has a new president, Enrique Pena Nieto, who began a six-year term on December 1st.
How will a Pena Nieto presidency be different from the previous Felipe Calderon administration?
