President Trump could accomplish more of his agenda if he had more help in Congress. And I’m not referring to Democrats, but to Republicans. The Washington Post recently quoted several Republicans in Congress who sure don’t seem too concerned about the border.
Republicans like this should be defeated and sent home.

Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, known by the acronym AMLO, was elected president of Mexico July 1st but doesn’t take office until December 1st.
So far, Trump and AMLO are speaking well of each other.
Speaking Guaymas, AMLO said “We aren’t going to fight with Trump”.
I hope there are good relations between the U.S. and Mexico under Trump and AMLO.

Activists who oppose American Indian sports mascots and team names have their work cut out for them, because they are also being used across the pond in Britain and Europe. The New York Times had an article about it.

The African/Middle Eastern invasion of Europe continues, though it now looks like the Italian are opting out of it.
But what about Spain? Spain is now the biggest entry point for the hordes of “refugees” entering Europe.
Is it possible Spain is going to get tougher? It should be interesting to watch.

On July 1st, the winner of the Mexican presidential election was Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, known by the acronym AMLO, formed by his four initials.
AMLO is scheduled to take office on December 1st.
How will AMLO get along with U.S. President Donald Trump? That’s an interesting question.
Since AMLO won, things have gone well. Although AMLO is considered a leftist and Trump right-wing, they are both nationalists, and thus they might understand one another.
I would support anything of mutual benefit to the United States and Mexico.
AMLO has a proposal for a sort of North American development program, also involving Central American countries. Just how would that work out?

The World Cup is the world’s biggest sports competition, watched by more viewers than the Olympics. Like the Olympics, the World Cup is held every four years (but not the same year). The latest Olympic Games were held in 2016. This year,2018. the World Cup was held in Russia.
The World Cup is a big business, in fact there is now a lawsuit against a Mexican media company for using bribery to obtain broadcast rights. It’s not too surprising or shocking really.

SPECIAL NOTE :
In the title of the article, and the last sentence of the article, referring to Pablo Rodriguez, it has scare quotes around the word “refugee”. I don’t know enough about the Rodriguez family enough to say if they were genuine refugees or not, and that wasn’t the point of the section anyway. But that’s how it was edited.
