Jorge Ramos is a white Mexican who moved to the United States, became the anchorman of the Spanish-language Univision network, later became an American citizen while retaining his Mexican citizenship, and agitates for the Hispanicization of the United States.
Ramos is very opposed to Donald Trump’s proposals to put a wall on the border and to abolish automatic birthright citizenship for anchor babies.
Jorge was on ABC talking about these things, and threatened that 60 million Latino voters would be voting in the 2016 election. There aren’t, however, 60 million Latino voters in the U.S., but it’s part of the propaganda to intimidate Republicans from doing the right thing.

Here’s a roundup of news from Spanish-language media. The Trump-bashing continues of course. The ´proposal to abolish current automatic birthright citizenship has attracted attention.
And I ran across an interesting article on what Latinos in the United States miss about Latin America.

A group of illegal alien parents is currently suing the state of Texas because their anchor babies weren’t awarded birth certificates. See my previous article on the topic here.
The Mexican government has gotten involved in the lawsuit by filing an amicus brief.

The Anchor Baby loophole, which confers U.S. citizenship on children born to illegal aliens, is now being discussed in the Mainstream Media. And that’s a good thing.
Meanwhile, something is going on in Texas that is part of both the Anchor Baby controversy and the controversy over the Mexican matricular consular card.

Jeb Bush (on the Republican side) and Hillary Clinton (on the Democratic side) each thought he or she was the Designated Nominee for his/her respective party. But things aren’t going as swimmingly as they had hoped.
Jeb is not currently ahead in the GOP polls, and Hillary isn’t doing as well as I think she expected.
It must be frustrating for each candidate to not have things working out as planned. Too many people just aren’t cooperating.

Donald Trump has taken our political system by storm, shaking up the Republican political establishment and defying the media. It’s been great to watch, as both the GOP elite and the Mainstream Media get the comeuppance they so richly deserve.
Trump, however, while strong on the big picture has thus far been somewhat lacking in the details, and sometimes gives the impression that he is making things up as he goes along.
That may be changing, however, as Campaign Trump is beginning to provide more detailed policy proposals, at least on the topic of immigration.
Trump has published a position paper entitled “Immigration Reform That Will Make America Great Again.” And for those of us who want a sane immigration policy that’s good for the country, it looks good.

On July 11th, 2015, Mexican drug baron Joaquin “el Chapo” Guzman escaped from prison in a mile-long tunnel specially constructed for his escape.
The question is, where is Chapo now? With his vast wealth and extensive connections, Chapo could be anywhere.
The DEA thinks Chapo is back in his home state of Sinaloa. And it just might be true.
