The Mexican political and media world is still talking about the Trump Triumph and his upcoming presidency. Here are a few examples:
1. The Mexican Foreign Ministry (SRE for its initials in Spanish) plans to continue meddling in the United States. And with the SRE’s vast consular network north of the border that’s very easy to do. Foreign Minister Claudia Ruiz Massieu has recorded a video message for Mexican illegal aliens in the United States. The SRE also has a program called “Estamos Contigo” (We Are With You) for illegal aliens in the United States. Click here for my article on VDARE.COM published December 5th, 2016.
2. Former president Vicente Fox is still ranting about Trump. For my blog entry about that, click here (published November 28th, 2016, on VDARE.COM).
3. Jorge Castaneda, Mexican intellectual and politician, who served from 2000 to 2003 as Fox’s Foreign Minister, has some proposals to stop Trump’s proposals. Click here to read about that in my article published December 13th, 2016 on VDARE.COM.
4. A Mexican state legislator publicly defended Trump. She was dubbed “Lady Trump” and was soon compelled to back down and renounce what she’d said. Click here for my blog entry about that, published November 27th, 2016, on VDARE.COM.

Wasn’t it great? I refer to Donald Trump’s Triumph in the U.S. Presidential Election. At our house, we stayed up to the wee hours of the following morning and it was fun.
It was great to see Trump defeat the Democrats and Mainstream Media (or do I repeat myself?).
You’ve got to just bask in the glow of the Trump Triumph.
But after celebrating, we have to look at the big picture and steel ourselves for the battles that yet remain to be fought. For the Trump victory is not the end by any means.

Trump has won the election, and of course there is plenty of response to that in the Spanish-language media.

Can you believe it? Donald Trump won the 2016 election.
There is plenty more work to be done. But for now, let us bask in the glow of the Trump Triumph and reflect on what is means, and what it could mean.

Many people think Mexico has a wall on its southern border, but it doesn’t. However, if Trump wins and, as pledged, builds a wall on the U.S.- Mexican border, Mexico might be forced to effectively fence off its borders with Guatemala and Belize.
That could be beneficial for all the countries involved.

(Note: Mexico’s borders with Guatemala and Belize are often referred to as its southern border, but that’s an approximation. If you look at a map you can see that most of Mexico’s border with Guatemala is an eastern border.)

The U.S. presidential election, pitting Donald Trump against Hillary Clinton, is November 8th.
In Mexico, Donald Trump has been excoriated in the media and among the political class since he announced his candidacy in June of 2015. The candidate has been likened to Hitler; he’s been slammed by politicians, journalists and entertainment personalities. Mexican politicians have even meddled in the U.S. presidential election to impede a Trump triumph.
But what if Trump does win?

Election Day is nearing, and it could be close.
The attacks on Trump continue. And that’s totally understandable. Of course leftists, globalists and anti-Americans would oppose a Trump candidacy. I totally get that.
What’s harder to explain is the bitter opposition to Trump among some Republicans, conservatives, constitutionalists and Christians. What’s going on here?
