Mexico’s INE Proposes New ID to Make It Easier for Mexicans in the U.S. to Vote in Mexican Elections

The INE (Instituto Nacional Electoral), Mexico’s electoral bureaucracy, has recently announced a new type of ID card designed to make it  easier for Mexicans residing in the U.S. to vote in Mexican elections.   The INE’s council voted unanimously to issue the card, as long as it has the approval of the Mexican Foreign Ministry.

How many of them are also citizens of the United States?
