The Zapotec culture has been in Mexico’s Oaxaca state for 2500 years, and they are still there. There are several Zapotec archaeological sites, the most famous being Monte Alban and Mitla.
Recently, a Zapotec tomb has been discovered which had been sealed for 1400 years. It’s called Tomb #10.
