The debate over amnesty is heating up in the United States and you can be sure that it’s being closely followed in Mexico.   It’s a hot topic south of the border.   Millions of Mexicans have relatives in the United States, and their media harps upon it constantly.

Mexico’s  SRE,  the Mexican Foreign Ministry (Spanish initials  for Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores) certainly has some things to say about it.   Mexico’s foreign policy folks are very interested in the subject.
