This year, 2020, is the four hundredth anniversary of the arrival of the Pilgrims at Plymouth Rock in 1620.
That’s a very significant anniversary. Too bad it isn’t being celebrated much. At least the United States Postal Service has issued a stamp portraying the Mayflower in Plymouth Bay.
Although a lot isn’t being done officially, we should recognize the Pilgrims as among the founders of the American nation.
