What a difference American leadership makes.
Donald Trump, our previous president, was able to pressure the Mexican government to decrease the amount of non-Mexicans arriving to the U.S. border through Mexico. Trump also made deals with Mexico and Central American countries that helped decrease the flow.
As a result, Mexican President AMLO (Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador) respected Trump and spoke well of him publicly.
Now that Biden is president and has instituted the Biden Border Rush, AMLO’s rhetoric has drastically changed. It’s back to the Meddling Mexican rhetoric.
The Mexican president rants about defending Mexicans in the United States, demands we do what he says, and even attacks American politicians, Cuban-American senators for example.
AMLO’s latest target? Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
