On May 20th, the second Mexican presidential debate was held, this time in Tijuana.     The theme was “Mexico and the World”.  Therefore there was plenty of Trump-bashing, complaining about U.S. deportation of illegal aliens, and pledges to meddle more in the United States.

Mexico’s elite does not like what Trump is doing, and they are doing what they can to stop or minimize it.

Mexico’s elite does not want the U.S. to control its own immigration policy.

Do Americans have any say in this?

NOTES: There is a list of the candidate’s names near the beginning, candidate 4 (commonly known as Bronco) is listed as Jaime Heliodor, actually it’s Jaime Heliodoro.

Do the candidates really all “hate Trump” as it says on the photo on the top of the page?  I don’t know, I didn’t write that.  The question is not, do they “hate Trump”, the real question is, do Mexican politicians respect American sovereignty, and the answer to that is a resounding NO.

Of course, if our own politician respect our sovereignty, it doesn’t matter what Mexican politicians say or do about it.
