Jeb Bush (on the Republican side) and Hillary Clinton (on the Democratic side) each thought he or she was the Designated Nominee for his/her respective party. But things aren’t going as swimmingly as they had hoped.
Jeb is not currently ahead in the GOP polls, and Hillary isn’t doing as well as I think she expected.
It must be frustrating for each candidate to not have things working out as planned. Too many people just aren’t cooperating.
